Relates to providing education and outreach programs related to home visiting programs 

The above-referenced legislation would provide education and outreach programs related to home visiting programs which provide support for pregnant and parenting families, including information on services available from such programs, eligibility, and relevant contact information. The New York State Catholic Conference supports this bill. 

During these fraught economic times, we must do everything we can to support families, mothers, children and babies. Home visiting programs are a wonderful way to improve outcomes for children, providing resources and education to help parents create healthy environments where little ones can thrive. Many families are not aware of the resources available to them; this legislation would ensure that these impactful programs are reaching every family possible. This meaningful support will go a long way toward supporting parents. We applaud the sponsors for their thoughtful approach.
